My husband and I have lived on the Isle of Wight for most of our lives, much of it in Cowes.

We purchased Seafarer’s View recently after falling in love with its spectacular roof terrace views and fun location, it’s been lovingly refurbished to operate as Serviced Accommodation. The property has 6 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms set over 5 floors and offers a very flexible living space. Seafarer’s View comfortably sleeps 12 guests. but can stretch to 14 when required.

Any of the bedrooms can be set up for couples or single guests sharing. All of the beds are divans with storage and have orthopedic, zip & link mattresses. These beds are so comfortable our first guests bought some for themselves after their holiday!

Seafarer’s View also has the added benefit of sitting behind lockable gated access, leading you to a secure courtyard area with parking for multiple vehicles.

The  courtyard is perfect for securely storing leisure and sporting equipment, or hanging sailing gear to dry. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with laundry facilities; a large washing machine and tumble dryer.

The first floor has its own bathroom with full size bath including an integrated shower, all the bathrooms have towel rails and illuminated/mirrored cabinets with integrated shaver points.

The second floor is the main entertaining area, and the dining room has a large banquet table that can host 12 diners, there is a smart TV with Netflix included, a large beer/wine chiller and a bar for serving those important pre-evening G&Ts. The kitchen

is well appointed with a sink, electric hob, oven/grill and fridge freezer. All the usual kitchen essentials are also provided like kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. To help with the cleaning up, a 14 place setting dishwasher is also provided.

The third floor hosts the remaining 3 bedrooms, a shower room and access to the roof terrace.

The roof terrace has seating for gueststo enjoy the 360o views whilst sipping a mojito, there is also an electric barbecue set up for some al fresco dining if you wish. The entire house has a strong wifi signal throughout, even on the roof terrace.

Sea Farers View Cowes is on a high street, great for people watching , rubbish for light sleepers, so ear plugs for light sleepers, or chose a bedroom at the rear of Sea Farers View.

Stairs / Loft Hatch, safety, children –  Sea Farers View Cowes may be unsuitable for guests with mobility issues, there are 7 flights of stairs to consider and a steep steps to get out on to the roof. The roof terrace is 5 stories high so we insist guest stay away from the edge and keep loft hatch closed once accessed. All guest are responsible for their own safety and must never leave anyone alone in the hot tub.
